From May 14th to 19th, the China Furniture Association visited the Middle East and Southeast Asia. A delegation of 22 people, led by Huang Huakun, the president of the Shenzhen Furniture Industry Association, and Hou Kepeng, the chairman, accompanied the delegation for an inspection. They were invited to attend the opening ceremony of the UAE Hive Furniture and Home Furnishing Trade Fair and the Middle East and Africa Buyers' Matching Conference. They also inspected the furniture market in Dubai and the landmark projects in Dubai. At the same time, I was invited to visit the Kuala Lumpur Home Decoration Design Exhibition Center and the Indonesian furniture Market, and had an exchange with Mr. Dedy Rochimat, the president of the Indonesian Furniture and Handicrafts Association, to prepare for the overseas expansion of the enterprise brand.

Analyze local consumer preferences to provide references for domestic enterprises to expand their products and brands overseas. At the same time, explore the brand's overseas expansion paths, including exhibition cooperation, local dealer networks, and the construction of exhibition centers, etc.

 

It is learned that during this trip to the Middle East and Southeast Asia, Zuoyou Home Furnishing has gained a lot. Many foreign distributors have signed up to act as agents for its international brand. President Huang Huakun stated that this event is an important practice for the association to promote the global layout of enterprises. In the future, the association will continue to hold activities to assist member units in achieving high-quality overseas expansion.

Huang Yuanhao, the general manager of the overseas business division of Zuoyou Home Furnishing Group, said that under the organization and leadership of the China Home Furnishing Association and the Shenzhen Home Furnishing Association, this visit to three Asian countries was very beneficial and further expanded and deepened everyone's understanding of the furniture market in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta are all first-tier developed cities in three different countries. They share common characteristics of Islamic mainstream culture, but also have their own segmented differences due to their national conditions, ethnic groups and cultures. This poses very high requirements for market development and service capabilities for Chinese furniture enterprises going global in the international market. They not only need to provide products that meet their market positioning and standards, It is even more necessary to combine local conditions and meet the requirements of localized operation. Through on-site visits and research at retail stores and industry associations, our understanding and knowledge of different markets have been greatly enhanced, laying a solid foundation and preparation for the future development of China's furniture industry.
