The highly anticipated "Group Standard for Quality Grading of Home Building Materials - Part 12: Functional Sofas" reached a significant milestone on July 23rd - the second discussion meeting, hosted by the Home Building Materials Quality Professional Committee of the China Association for Standardization, was successfully held. This standard was initiated by Zhejiang Tmall Technology Co., Ltd. and jointly drafted by Shenzhen Furniture Research and Development Institute and Shenzhen Sede Testing Technology Co., LTD. It aims to provide clear guidance for consumers' purchasing through scientific classification indicators and promote the improvement of industry quality.

At the meeting, representatives from several functional sofa production and sales enterprises, including Minhua Internet Retail (Huizhou) Co., LTD., Foshan Pasha Man Shunle E-commerce Co., LTD., Foshan Impression Network Technology Co., LTD., Foshan Meimuju Home Furnishing Co., LTD., Foshan Lingmi Jun Furniture Co., LTD., and Shanghai Wanmu Shengyuan Home Furnishing Co., LTD., gathered together. In-depth discussions were held on the comprehensiveness of the hierarchical projects and the rationality of the indicator limits. Suggestions were actively offered, providing valuable practical experience support for the improvement of the standards and making them more in line with the actual market demands.
Meanwhile, another important standard focusing on the smart sofa field is also advancing steadily - the Shenzhen Furniture Industry Association's group standard "Evaluation Specification for Smart Sofa Intelligence Level" is currently in the development stage. This standard was proposed by Kujia Home Furnishing Co., Ltd. and drafted under the leadership of Director Zhao Liang of the Kujia Home Furnishing Research Institute. The Shenzhen Furniture Research and Development Institute and Shenzhen SEde Testing Technology Co., Ltd. provided full technical support and verification testing services throughout the process to ensure the scientific nature and operability of the standard.
It is reported that the "Intelligent Level Evaluation Specification for Smart Sofas" will construct an evaluation index system from five core dimensions: intelligent perception, intelligent interaction, intelligent adjustment, intelligent security, and intelligent experience, and classify the levels based on the comprehensive evaluation results. This move will fill the industry gap in evaluating the intelligence level of smart sofa products, providing scientific and comprehensive technical basis for enterprises' research and development and consumers' selection, and helping the smart sofa industry develop towards standardization and high quality.
